Liberty Utilities Elevator Tower Platforms
- Riverton, KS.

NFSE provided Liberty Utilities with a platform design for their new gas turbine power plant elevator tower. The tower exceeded 150 feet in height and the design was utilized at multiple landing locations up the tower. The platfrom was designed using RISA-3D and the latest IBC and AISC design codes. NFSE provided calculations, fabrication drawings and fabrication and installation oversight to ensure proper construction and safety practices were implemented. Platforms were installed in 2016 and are in service

Residential Repair Services

NFSE created as-built drawings in support of roof repair for more than a dozen homeowners post-Hurricane Michael in the Florida Panhandle. NFSE visited each site, created a set of as-built drawings, then dictated repair procedures through stamped construction documents. NFSE worked with the contractor and framer for each project to ensure our designs were desirable from both a cost and efficiency perspective. Our commitment to excellent communication across the repair teams allowed us to help put displaced residents back into their home as quickly as possible.

Hurricane Michael Property Loss

NFSE authored over 50 residential and commercial architectural, structural, and electrical loss evaluation reports to general contractors, adjusters, and homeowners in Bay County, Florida. NFSE performed complete loss evaluations post Hurricane Michael and documented each finding and opinion in more than 2,000 pages of authored reporting. As of December 2019 NFSE, is continuing to help provide independent technical expertise to the disaster-stricken areas of the Florida Panhandle.

Aerial view

NFSE’s FAA licensed unmanned aerial vehicle operators have accumulated hundreds of hours of flight
time since 2018. NFSE uses drones to support property loss, land delineation, sales and marketing
efforts, and a host of other commercial needs. NFSE uses the latest most agile drones with significant
flight time capability to enable our pilots to spend more time flying and less time changing batteries
which leads to less cost to the client overall. One of the biggest benefits of drone use is that it enables
close inspection of elevated structures without putting a person in a dangerous situation.
